Northern Pelvic Connection provides regular and pelvic health physiotherapy at your doorstep on Manitoulin Island and the Espanola area.
Mobile physiotherapy is a convenient, high quality and safe option for those with mobility issues, transportation difficulties, busy lives and children. It is also a great option for those who work from home or if you have just had a baby!
Pelvic physiotherapy for this population should be the standard of care. Don’t worry about packing up supplies for your baby or timing feedings or traveling to a clinic. We will come to you! The earlier pelvic physiotherapy is initiated in your postpartum journey, the better.
Suffering from pelvic girdle pain or wanting to prepare mentally and physically for birth and postpartum? No need to leave your home to get to an appointment. Learn how to navigate your home pain-free during pregnancy, learn evidence-based pain management, positioning and pushing options to reduce the risk of perineal tearing and prolapse during birth, and learn how your partner can support you during the main event and postpartum to optimize your birth experience.
Pain anywhere in the body? Northern Pelvic Connection provides regular, whole body physiotherapy too. Do you just want to relax at home after a long work day? Difficult to find childcare? Worried about travelling in winter conditions? Always a hassle to leave your home? This option is for you.
It works the same as a physiotherapy session in-clinic, except in your house and with a mobile treatment table!
